Sight Words Parking Lot

My son is already reading a lot of words but before that, we started with simple sight words. Since he likes cars so much, I made him this Sight Words Parking Lot. I'm pretty sure I'm not the first person to do this. I used the sight words in his syllabus.

I also used dot stickers to put on top of the cars. Just write the corresponding sight words. I got the stickers from National Bookstore.

Just ask your child to read the word on the car and 'park' it in the appropriate spot in the parking lot.

My son mastered these words in no time. Since we have so many Hot Wheels cars, I just got random ones. You can use your child's favorite cars. If you have a girl, you can stick the sticker dots on My Little Pony toys.

If you want to do this activity with your little one, I made a Free Printable just for you:

Just print on cardstock or Vellum (also available at National Bookstore). You can even laminate it to make it last longer. Have fun! If you do use it with your child, I'd love a shoutout so comment below.
