Not all creams are created equal

Spaghetti is something I don’t screw up… until this batch. This is a cream-tomato pasta dish that I made sometime ago. Instead of using my regular Nestle cream, I used Magnolia cream. Big mistake. It had a weird aftertaste. I can’t describe it but it tastes a bit like stale oil. I was really disappointed. We ended up giving the leftovers to the cats. Next time, I’ll be sticking to my tried and tested (tasted) products.
