Wanchai Siomai


I love siomai. For those of you who are not familiar with it, it’s a Chinese dimsum. It has pork and shrimps. It goes well with a soy-calamansi (calamondin) dip.

When I see a new siomai place, I make it a point to try it out.  I saw this food kiosk called Wanchai and their siomai looks so mouth-watering so I ordered some. I was very disappointed. The meat was tough and chewy and had ligaments. I also did not like the flavor. Too bad as this was not exactly cheap. MB didn’t like it as well.
