Homeschool Must-Have: Colorful Book Bins!

Most homeschoolers have a ton of books, notebooks, supplies, and materials lying around the house. I found that one of the best, easiest, and cheapest ways to organize them is by using bins like these!

These bins are highly versatile as you can use them to organize all sorts of things like books, manipulatives, toys, arts and crafts supplies, fidget toys, and more!

I like using them to organize books by genre, topic, or subject. Then, I line them up on the bookshelf. You can also label each one so the kids know where to put books back.

Use them to organize your daily learning supplies such as pens and pencils, sharpeners, crayons, etc. Since there are different colors, you can assign one color per child. This keeps the peace among the kids. They don't have to fight for that pencil or that marker because each child has his or her own bin filled with their very own supplies.

As you may know, my son is ADHD so I always have some fidget toys around. I like to put some in a bin and put the bin near him during an online class. I only give him the quiet toys to fidget with. His hands need to keep busy in order for him to focus on the lessons.

Another cool way to use these bins is for sensory play! Put some Motion or Kinetic Sand in it and place dinosaurs, mermaids, unicorns, etc. You can put some water in it and add some ocean creatures. For younger kids, place big things like the pumpkins above. You can do themed plays. You can use this for your unit study.

Feel free to save or PIN this idea to your board.

You can find these bins at our store. If you're a member of Homeschool Resources Philippines, head on over to the group page for a special discounted price!
