Brownout? Build a Fort!
We had a few power interruptions several months ago. It’s okay if my son was already asleep but if the lights went out and it’s not yet his sleeping time, we need to be creative. So, we built a fort for his cars using Duplo.
My Brownout Essentials for Toddlers
. Flashlights and batteries
2. You can also use an LED lamp. I am still looking for a good one. The one I want is not available here. Lamps are better for older kids so that they can read or play with both hands free.
3. Snacks and water. They will get hungry
4. Simple activities which you can do with minimal light
5. Rechargeable fan – super must-have! Invest in one.
