This One Travel Organizer Turned My Hotel Closet Into a Mini Wardrobe

This is a part of my Baguio 2025 series.

I never thought ₱208 could buy me peace of mind, but on our recent Baguio trip—it did.

This soft, collapsible hanging organizer turned out to be one of the smartest things I packed. I loaded it with all our hotel clothes before we even left, zipped it into my luggage, and when we arrived, I simply lifted it out and hung it in the closet.

I love the fact that it fits a ton of clothes! We were in Baguio for almost a week, and all our hotel day and night clothes fit!

No digging. No mess. No “Where are my socks, Mom?” chaos. By the way, I put my son's underwear and socks in the bottom compartment with the zipper.

Just instant order—and a tiny wardrobe that made hotel living feel a little more luxurious.

Foldable hangers

For our going-out clothes, I  normally bring foldable hangers so that I can hang them the moment I unpack. Some clothes no longer require ironing, so it's best to hang them immediately to remove wrinkles.

Steam iron

For this trip, I brought our small steam iron. I found out that ironing services cost Php150 for a small t-shirt, and I'd have to wait at least 2 hours before they bring it back! So, no thanks! Honestly, bringing an iron during travel is one more thing in my luggage and extra weight, but this trip proved that it was sooo worth it! We were always put together. No "bagong gising" looks anymore!

Light, Cute, Functional: Sanrio Ziplocks

Instead of bulky pouches or organizers, I packed accessories into lightweight Sanrio ziplock bags. Not only are they cuter (obviously), they take up almost no space and weigh next to nothing—a huge win since my son can’t help with heavy bags just yet.

💎 Jewelry was pre-sorted into its own zip. You can also take this step further by assigning one ziplock per day according to your outfit. Less decision fatigue. Just grab one pack and wear the earrings, bracelets, etc that go with your outfit for the day.

No rummaging. No mess. Just happy zip-zip sound and instant calm.

Packing Cubes

I always pack with packing cubes. It keeps everything organized inside the luggage. Plus, if your luggage accidentally opens, everything is corralled inside, and you won't have underwear flying all over the place.

I sort our clothes into packing cube colors. Pink for me, blue for my boy, orange for things we both use.

Pre-Planned Outfits by Day

Before we left, I carefully planned our outfits by day and activity. Each top had its paired bottom, and I even arranged them in the closet so it's easy to get the outfit of the day.

This meant:

No overpacking

No “what should I wear” moments

Zac could easily find his clothes without asking every 5 minutes
